Tirupati Helps is an independent local guide for Tirupati and Tirumala. We publish verified business listings, temple darshan information, travel guides and practical how-to help — for pilgrims planning a visit, residents who live here, and the local businesses that serve them both.
Anyone who has planned a Tirupati trip knows the problem. Darshan timings differ depending on which page you land on. Hotel phone numbers ring out or belong to someone else entirely. The answer to a simple question — which hospital is open at 2 AM, which cab service actually turns up, how to get a licence renewed — is scattered across a dozen sites, half of them out of date.
The idea came out of Thalla Lokesh’s years working in digital marketing at a yellow pages company between 2014 and 2017. He spent that time watching how local business information gets collected, and how quickly it goes stale when nobody is responsible for keeping it current. Tirupati Helps was founded in 2017 to do the opposite: a smaller directory where every number has been dialled, and every listing has a person’s name behind it.
We began with three people and borrowed equipment. What has not changed since is the rule we started with — if we haven’t checked it, we don’t publish it.

Every business listing is verified by phone. If the number doesn’t work, the listing doesn’t go up. That’s what the green Verified badge means.
No anonymous content and no scraped listings. If you disagree with something we’ve written, you know exactly who wrote it.
Timings change, businesses move, temples revise their schedules. Report anything wrong and we check it within 24 hours.

We get things wrong sometimes. If you spot an error, an out-of-date timing, or a listing for a business that has closed, tell us and we’ll correct it — no argument and no form to fill in. Business owners can also claim their own listing and keep it updated directly.
